This policy describes the data practices implemented in the 10MinuteTimer.us website code. The tools run in the browser without accounts, a timer database or a remote timing API. Optional saved settings use your browser’s local storage. Serving a website and receiving support email can still involve information outside your device, as explained below.
Timer labels, settings and results
Durations, task labels, phase settings and lap results are used in the current page to operate the selected tool. The timer code does not upload these values to a site server, analytics service or public share URL. Labels are treated as text and are limited in length. Avoid private information on shared screens because anyone who can see the page can read what it displays.
Copy results on the stopwatch places plain text on your clipboard when browser access succeeds. If access is refused, the site provides selectable text instead. Pasting those results into email, a document or another service is an action you control, and that destination’s handling applies to the pasted information.
Optional local saving
Save on this device is off until you choose it. Enabling it stores a small versioned record for the relevant tool in local storage. Depending on the tool, that record can contain a duration, task label, sound preference, schedule, timer cards, lap rows and a known timing snapshot. It belongs to this browser profile on this device.
A saved running snapshot is offered for deliberate review after reload rather than silently restarting an alarm. It cannot establish reliable alarm delivery while a tab was closed. Local saving does not create an account, synchronize across devices or send the stored record to the project maintainer.
Clear saved settings removes the relevant tool’s saved local record. It does not close the current tool or erase files elsewhere on your device. To remove all site storage, use your browser’s site-data controls. Private browsing, storage policies and browser cleanup can also remove or prevent these records; the site cannot recover data after it has been deleted.
Page requests and hosting
The project is prepared for static hosting on Cloudflare Workers. When pages or local assets are requested, the deployed host and its security systems can receive network and request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, time and security events. The exact logs, retention and account access depend on the owner’s deployed hosting configuration.
The site does not claim that visiting generates no data simply because timer settings stay local. Host-level operational information may be used to serve pages, detect abuse and investigate availability problems. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for the provider’s own explanation; it is separate from the local timer behavior described here.
Analytics, advertising and external media
The implemented site includes no analytics tracking script, advertising script, account system or automatically loaded external video player. It does not set a timer-service cookie for a login or advertising profile. Local storage is still browser data even though it is not a cookie and is used only after the saving option is selected.
Videos appear as optional links or a player loaded only when you choose Load video. Loading a YouTube player makes a request to that provider, which can receive request information and apply its own privacy practices. You may instead use the primary browser timer without loading the player. Google’s Privacy Policy explains that provider’s practices.
Images displayed by the site are served from local public assets. A source-credit link takes you to the external publisher only when you follow it. Following any external link creates a visit to that destination, where its own privacy and storage practices apply. The site does not control those providers.
If analytics, advertising, accounts or other integrations are introduced, this policy must be reviewed to describe the actual providers, data and available choices before those features are released. Their possible future use is not presented as current collection or consent handling.
Contact messages
Email sent to hello@10minutetimer.us contains the address and information you choose to send. Your email provider and the mailbox provider can process that message. The site has no contact-form endpoint, and selecting an email link does not automatically send a message.
The owner may use reports to investigate issues and answer questions. Messages may be retained during that work; no specific retention period or automated deletion schedule is represented here. Please send page URLs, generic numeric settings and reproduction steps rather than private task labels, student information or sensitive attachments.
Your choices and questions
You can use the tools without local saving, clear saved records, choose silent timing, decline optional external media and avoid adding personal information to labels. Browser settings provide additional controls over site storage, clipboard access, audio and fullscreen. Some restrictions may reduce a feature’s availability while leaving the static instructions readable.

This policy does not certify compliance with every applicable privacy law; the owner must review the deployed configuration and any legal obligations associated with operating the site.
